DABI, RAJASTHAN: At least 27 people died and many injured after a bus skidded off a bridge and fell into a river near Dubi in Rajasthan this morning.The bus was ferrying passengers from Lal Soth to Sawai Madhopur, about 65 km away, when it reportedly lost balance due to sudden burst of front tyre and fell off the bridge into Banas river in Rajasthan's Swai Madhopur district.
"Around 50 people were in the bus of which 27 people have died; injured have been sent to near by hospitals," a senior police officer said.
Rescue teams at the spot said most passengers have been rescued and all bodies have also been recovered.
